Academic Dress Hire

One of the major activities of the Otago Branch of NZFGW is our business venture of hiring academic dress, principally for University of Otago and Otago Polytechnic graduation ceremonies.

Success

  • The success of this business venture ensures a sound base for the financial support our Branch gives to communities and to members.  (See our Awards and Grants pages.)
  • To maintain the success of this business, we depend on members’ active participation.

Dates

  • Otago Polytechnic Graduations are held in March and December.
  • University of Otago Graduations are held in May, August and December.

In the month before each graduation, the Otago Branch Newsletter customarily gives the dates and times of the sessions of issue or return of hired academic dress and invites members and supporters to offer their help with these activities.  If you miss the Newsletter information and wish to help, contact Sue Cathro by email at b.s.cathro@xtra.co.nz
