Membership with the Federation provides access to:
- A recognised platform for women concerned with improving the status of women and girls
- Education funding for retraining
- Local, national and international networks
- Contact with women across a wide range of disciplines
- Opportunities to apply knowledge and skills to influence public affairs
- Research funding and postgraduate scholarships
- Socialising with like-minded ladies
The NZFGW is open to all University, College of Education or Polytechnic graduates with a recognised degree undertaken either in New Zealand or overseas. Diploma holders or those with a partial degree (equivalent of at least two years full time study or part time equivalent) usually join as associate members.
Our membership is renewed each year, with the year running July to June. Members joining partway through the year are still required to pay the full amount. Members wishing to join for the current membership year can download the Membership Form 2010-11.
