Otago Branch awards and grants are dispersed from the funds of either NZFGW (Otago Branch) or NZFUW (Otago Branch) Charitable Trust.  If you are interested in an Otago Branch award or grant please read all of the material supplied in the relevant Application Pack.  If you decide to apply, allow yourself plenty of time to gather material and complete your application on the prescribed form (available through the blue links below).

Bina Roy Partners in Development Programme  (Mid-winter donation from Otago sent annually to IFUW.)

NZFGW(Otago) Community Awards (Closing dates: 31 January, 15 May and 15 September each year.  The Federation has a particular interest in supporting projects and activities relating to education, health, women and children. )

NZFGW (Otago) Grants-in-aid (Granted periodically.  Qualifying Branch members, Branch Committee members, and/or Dunedin tertiary institution staff members initiate processes for grants-in-aid.)

NZFGW(Otago) Helen Benson Awards  (Closing date: 15 October each year.  Designed to support non-graduate women at a ’second chance’ at retraining or education.)

Otago Daphne Purves Awards  (Closing date: 15 February and 15 July each year.)

Otago (New Zealand) IFUW President’s Choice Speaker  (Paid triennially on request of IFUW.)

NZFGW (Otago) Project Grants for research or activities promoting IFUW goals  (Granted periodically.)

NZFGW (Otago) Travel Awards   (Closing dates: 15 March, 15 June and 15 August each year.)
